Welcome to my 93 Ford Probe GT pages. I'm 38 and never bought a Ford before then bought a 94 Probe GT but an automatic. Started to toy with upgrades and fell in love with it so bought this 5 speed to pick up where I left off on the first one.Instead of going all out and then having to do a trans swap later figured it would be easier to just start with the right car to begin with.
The Probes are great little cars. This one I found with American Racing rims wrapped in yokohama tires. Has a sun roof. Doesn't have the heavy power seats. The previous owner installed 97 taillights on it already, looks sharp. He put a short ram on it but i took and installed my cai and put the shorty on the blue GT. All the power options work and the hatch stays up on this one too. Woo Hoo! In my first week of owning this I did almost as much work as I did in 3 months on the other GT. It helped it wasn't 25 below zero out this time. Hope you all like this one. I love all the support and kind words from my domain family. You all are terrific. At my first car show a week after owning it took 2nd place in 1982-2002 Modified class. It was a great feeling and reassuring that the Probe is worth more than some might think. It was nice to be reminded other than by friends that "TRUE" car people can appreciate the hard work and time/ money investment into any car.

this one came to me with 16" American Racing rims and yokohama tires, sun roof, and 97 taillights installed already.
The first thing to get switched over was the VIS carbon fiber hood. Then the next morning the wife and I tag teamed the stereo install and pillar gauges. We did 3 months worth of work in 2 days and both of us had trouble standing up straight.Maybe instead of a body kit with next years tax returns we should get a hot tub.
Trying to make over a car in 2 days and keep an eye on 2 kids 3 and a 10 month old was pure hell. Would like to see West Coast Customs do it.
I painted the enclosure red and added black interior auto carpet to the top under the subs and above the amps has been covered by plexiglass then overlayed with carbonfiber sticker from autozone. I have seen some cheesy stuff but this stuff looks just like my hood and has amazing sticking power.
If I don't have a wrench in my hand I have grilling utencils and a Bacardi / Coke in hand. Man I love summer!
Never too old or too young to be car crazy
So in 2 days we came this far so we can have it ready for a car show tomorrow.
5-23-08 Painted some of my interior pieces. Starting to look more complete. As long as everything was apart again during the stereo swap to this car noticed a god awful noise once in awhile thru the speakers, traced it down to a bad set of rca cables so ran a new set.
5-24-08 Sold the blue GT and bought a few things for this one. Picked up smoked corner lens and a 13" flip down monitor so people can play playstaion at car shows.
I'll add pics of the installs and finished look when I get them in.
5 -24-08 Swapped out the blue neon for red and I couldn't find a good place for my toggle switch for the neons so fabbed up a plate for the Alpine component tweets and the toggle, looks pretty hot I must say.

5-30-08 Got in my 13" monitors but Audioblowouts on Ebay screwed up my order and shorted me the dvd players. I wasn't planning on using the dvd player in my car, just the ps2 for everything but now the wifes ride is screwed until they correct their mistake.
5-25-08 Rainy day so took the time to take off each wheel and polish em up and paint the brake calipers in anticipation for the Memorial Day car show tomorrow. It's rain or shine so am hoping for a downpour to keep all the trailer queens home. I think these are the little details that make a car special even if you can't really put your finger on it at first sight.
5-31-08 Started the install of the 13" monitor. Couldn't wait until I had it done to try it all out. I justify this by telling the wife I need to make sure it works before I have another few hours into it for nothing, lol!
I can barely get a turn on guitar hero and when I got done with it this morning the neighbor saw my daughter playing it and said" Honey, come take a look at this shit, your not going to believe what he did now", lol
6-7-08 Here we go again! The whole front end came off another Probe so I could install smoked corner lights. As long as the front was off I went ahead and put my hood pins in. Also added 10.2 mm Iridium plug wires and plugs.MMMMMMM Beefy!

Took it out of the garage for the first time in a few weeks so decided to let it run for awhile and take a couple of pics out in the snow for my friends in the dirty south.
New for 2009 decided to paint the car in a showier paint scheme. Did everything myself on this car so didn't stop now.
Instead of buying expensive tru fire stencils made my own from drawing a design on a pepsi 12 pack and cut it out. Worked great.
Here are the flames done. Took 6 steps of a dark orange paint, chrome yellow and orange glow candy with a few coates of clear over it. Can't believe I did it myself, looks awesome.
So was all the hard work worth it. Hell yeah! Took 1st place sport compact at the first show with the new paint job. Very rewarding.
Was in the Gilbert Mn 4th of July parade. Some kid asked if he could play Guitar Hero so I said sure and he put it on expert and rocked the hell out and worked the crowd great, was a lot of fun.
