UPDATE 8/23/09: My biological birth giver sent this vehicle to the crusher without my knowledge. May my baby rest in peace.

I found Rebecca Lynn in a storage yard where her owner had left her for storage. However, he had not paid his storage fees in many months.

The last time he was seen by the landlord, he was trying to get the Bronco out of storage without paying his back rent fees. Then the sheriff shows up. A hot pursuit police chase begins and ends a few blocks away after the former Bronco owner crashed head-on into a tree in a Honda. He broke his back and both legs. The reason he ran was because he was a convicted child molester on the run from the law. So he ended up in the hospital until he was well enough to go to jail.

I looked inside the Bronco that day and clearly could see someone had been living in it for a while. It looked like a homeless person's nest. And smelled like one, too! The most interesting thing about Rebecca Lynn that day was the bullet holes in the windshield. LOL Of course, she only had an ignition key that was useless regardless because the battery was dead, the selenoid was fried, the battery cables were shot and the starter was dead.

I got the Bronco started at home on the trailer. Unfortunately, I fried the transmission in Beverly towing Rebecca Lynn home. So Beverly was in the shop. And I was in too much of a hurry to hook-up Betty to the trailer. The trailer was already backed up to a dirt hill, so my smart self thought I should just be able to back right up off my trailer. Oh nay, nay! Note: never do this! When I went to back up, the Bronco stood still, but my trailer shot out from under me. The trailer flew forward and landed on and in a shipment of lumber for my new barn! My brother, who was standing right next to me watching the entire event, laughed so hard he nearly fell over.

I need to get a camera mounted on my house capturing these precious moments. I have so many of them. Especially when I'm unloading a fresh arrival!

That is a great little story behind your Bronco, I wish I had a camara on my house 24/7....I hit the Bronco with 5 stars. It really looks good and the story was good entertainment. You have a nice garage, I will be looking in all of them! Take care Bronco bro....Happy Trails!!!!
