This in another one of my favorite cars. It is a rare 82 givenchy Continental. I found this car on Ebay about 6 years ago. It was saved from being parted at Pick Your Part junk yard. A guy bought it as he found it was given to a charity and they in turn sold it to Pick Your Part. Pick Your Part thought the car was too nice to part and thought to try and sell it before sending it to the yard for parts. The guy bought it and it found its way on Ebay. When I bought it, the car ran so bad that I almost thought I would have to replace the engine. Well, I learned all about the car and found out that it was just the VV carb, which I have become an expert on them, and now the car runs so smooth, that you can't even tell its running. It needed the top of one fender painted due to the black was so think you could see the primer. I bought from Paint Scratch a can of acrylic enamel, correct paint and painted it in 10 minutes. Waited a week and had rubbed it out. You can't even tell it was ever painted. It matches and has the exact same texture as the rest of the paint. I spent over a year going from junk yard to junk yard getting perfect trim items and spent thousands of dollars at Green Sales putting on as many NOS parts as I could find, including NOS wheels. The car is about a 95 on a scale or 1-100 and nothing on the car is aftermarket whatsoever. The only non factory thing are the Diminson VI tires which should be Uniroyal Royal Seal tires. My good friend owns the local L/M dealership and the car had always been serviced at his dealership up until about a year before I bought it. I found out that the milage was true and correct and that it was owned by a doctors wife. The car has no dent, chips or defects whatsoever. I have replaced anything that wasnt perfect on with NOS (where I could find) and Motorcraft where only available. New this car listed for over 26,000.00 when new.
