Hi all, This is my 1982 series 2 Rx7, i bought it about a year ago and since then haven't really changed anything. just done the usuall maitenence etc.
Features:
12A rotary perry extractors
4 wheel disc brakes
5spd manual
electric windows
electric mirrors
headlight spray system, why? i have no idea
A/C needs re gasing
2+2 original seating
When i bought it it was off the road so a list of stuff i had to do to it:
replace oil cooler, replace rear exhaust muffler so i put sprts system in, none of the electrics were working so i had to pull apart all the switches and recondition them, also had to pul out the electric windows and fix them and just a general cleanup. also while the car was off the road i had the following done:
set of perry extractors installed
full 2 1/4 inch exhaust system with hotdog and sports mufler installed
now she runs like a dream with just a standard 12A
Things i want to do are
put some nice rims on her
rebuild the diff as she's getting a bit noisy
Put in an LSD trying to find ones a bit of a hassle
while i'm doin the diff, i'll replace all bearings and bushes so it'll all be sweet
rebuild the gearbox and eventually rebuild the engine or import a 12A turbo engine from somewhere
