if you sand it before you paint what sanding paper did you use 400 or 600 ???

i used dupli-color on the headlights. bake at 250 for 10-15min, but 10min would be enough to melt the seal. and yeah you'll need to take off all the wires.

you need to make sure you take out all the wiring off the headlights as well as the bulbs and rubber boots. Heat them up, pry them apart, spray the part you want painted, Heat them up again and push them back together. If you get moisture, you need to take them apart and put together again until its right.
