I owned this car for 11 years. I bought it with 50,000 on it in 1991, the car had a spotless undercarriage and engine compartment as it was garaged all of it's life.

being friends with the Holbert family, I lived near them and often would "play cars" with Todd. After bringing the car over 9the day I bought it), to my surprise, I was told this car used to belong to his father (the great Al Holbert). Wow, apparently it was handed down to Al cousin and eventually sold out of the family...and then to me which brought the car back around full circle! Cool......

it remained stock for a few years, I made some mods to it like upgrading the brakes and wheels, performance cam, some cosmetic changes....I did keep all original parts.
After owning the car 9 years I bought a Saab turbo convertible which soon became my project car.....leaving the 924 out in the driveway a few months at a time...it was not happy...some rust began to slowly appear on the body and around the windows. I was able to inhibit the rust to very minor blemishes. The time came when I need to sell it. I first attempted ebay with a ton of action, it didn't meet my reserve. So I slowly contacted each bidder to find a "respectful" new home.

I bought it for $3500 and sold it 11 years later with 85k on it for $3800....Now i wish i had it again....so your reading this and you know this car...CONTACT ME I would love to here how the car is doing (good or bad).
