As you Blazer fans may have already figured out the 1975 blazers did not come with a half cab and half shell. They were full convert. to the windshield. Well my 1975 was involved in a roll-over in 1999 and the shell and top were crushed(along with other things). I with the help of family and friends rebuilt the truck with the use of a 1977 blazer for the donor top and shell. Why would I do this? Two reasons, first off it was all I had at the time as far as a spare cab and second I wanted to save the 75 because I knew it would be smog exempt at some point in California. I must say that if I didn't tell you it was graphed onto the truck you would not know.
My Blazer has 6 inch front Pro Comp springs and 8 inch rear Superlift rear springs with a 2 inch body lift. Front bumper was raised to match stock location and rear bumper is a step bumper off a mid 90's chevy pickup. It has Weld 15x12 Terra-6 rims and 36 inch TSL Super Swampers. I recently added King Shocks to each corner(not pictured) and Pro-Comp dual steering shocks. The rear shell is smoothed out. New GM doors and fenders,Goodmark steel cowl hood, power rear window tailgate off mid 80's blazer, fold and tumble rear seat off mid 80's blazer,roll-bar,smitty built nerf bars, chrome push bars with kc lights, billet grill, euro tail-lights, Lexus pearl white paint with Lexus inferno red tribal flames and custom tint with flames in the tint.
The BLACK interior: Re-upholstered low back bucket seats with bowties in seat same for the back bench seat, vinyl rubber flooring throughout the truck, Dakota Digital Gauges, CB, XM Radio and ear bleeding stereo system 2-10's 2-12's 3000 watts, all new glass in truck, new dash pad, billet dash inserts, and gt grant steering wheel.
The Engine and drive train: Mild performance 350 with crane cam, 30 over,4-bolt main, Manly valves, Manly pistons, ported heads, doug thorley tri-y headers, 3 inch dual exhaust and Flowmaster single camber mufflers,Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb, K&N huge air filter,Electric fans, hi-output alternator, chrome valve covers, rebuilt turbo 350 transmission, 203 transfer case,dana 44 front axle with Auburn locker and 4.56 gears, rear 12 bolt axle with Eaton locker and 4.56 gears, custom rear cv joint driveline, King shocks, and lift described above.
