ok all....here's our ride....we started this ride back in '04 when my pops and i decided to chop this thing 6",which little did we know was like chopping an egg, pops being the body guru that he is, has the patience to keep his wits when it comes to doin body work.well we got though the chop in 10 days,
one donor roof, and only one bottle of jack daniels.pops lives in maine so he had to go home, thats when i started the suspension, air ride , drop spindles, some cuttin and welding,THEN,we had an addition....

when the docs all said it couldn't happen it did.....our beautiful daughter was born in '05...thats when I took off from building the ride to be the dad i am to my daughter...just over a year later we started agian...thats when i went crazy on the powerplant and pops back down to do the final body work, the wife and i decided that we'd do the interior, that took two bottles of JD,but hell,we think we did ok for the first time at doin interior work.
the only things not done in our shop was 1. transmission by scotti at ratsnest racing 2.final paint by willie at CARSS in moorseville,nc 3.seats by butlerbuilt,4.machine work for engine, everything else was done in house.

What kind/type of blue and silver are you using for the paint? I like the color scheme. I just bought (Aug 22, 2009) a 72 super beetle and I've been looking around for paint ideas. I really like the color combination of your beetle. Great job.
