Yeah, the ecu was plug and play... no swapping of any other sensors or any other parts. The harness for the 22re ecu and the 22rte ecu are exactly the same so there should be no issue with just plugging in the rte ecu and having it work. All I needed to do to add a turbo was install the new ecu, put the turbo on, I put in 370 cc/min injectors which work very well with the setup, and deal with the plumbing of the turbo. If I were to run higher boost I would have lowered the compression, but that wont happen for a while so I didnt worry about it. So I guess all you would need (from an rte fuel injection system) is the ecu, and possibly the injectors unless you were planning on some others... I used a new set of RC engineering injectors and am very happy with them. The stock 22re injectors will not work, but I am sure you know that. Anyway, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask and I will help out as much as I can. My email address is: orca194@cox.net. It will be easier to get in touch with me directly through email. Good luck on the turbo, your truck will be awesome with it. I also have a tacoma with a V6 5VZFE, that is my daily driver and makes for a great truck. Unfortunately I dont have the money to start modifying that also.

Hey, thanks for checking out my celica. As for the fuel and ignition, I am using a 22rte ecu, like you said you saw, and I have an MSD boost timing master/multispark ignition system that I have not gotten around to installing yet. The RTE ecu should plug right in to the factory harness as the ecu's are physically the same, they just have different maps, etc programmed into them. The MSD system is not needed (I haven't needed it yet), but I have to run premium gasoline to stop detination from occuring. Also I am sure you know this, but the RTE ecu does have a limit that once you add too much boost it cuts fuel. I have been running at 7 psi and been fine, I dont know where this occurs, I have heard around 10 psi, but like I said, I dont know.
