Well this is actually a test to see if i can post on this vehicle because i cant on the other.
This is the Satty as it sits now, i get around and run around 27 MPG city.

To give you the run down, I purchased this car for $550 running, but running very rough. When the engine was finally torn apart after my family and i moved I discovered that the second piston was shattered, the bearing spun and the rod shot. As everything was replaced it was cleaned, the only kink was when all of the connecting rod bolty broke. I replaced all of the rods and the second piston. While the head was off i had my father port and polish the head, mirror the exhaust and rough the intake.

I would like to get another head so i can experament with some different combonations. I still have plans for this car even as it sits now. General clean up is in order replacing the hood and fender, finding another bumper would be nice but not essential.
Shortly after getting it road bourne it was determined that the steelies were not going to work for long and that new tires were in order. I opted for a cheaper route for the tires straping on a set of BF goodrich G-Force Sport tires. Good for summer but suck in the rain. As for the rim, i bolted on a set of IW Racing 17" Aluminium wheels. Being a 4-100 i was quite limited on my selecton at the location i chose.

I then sought to open up some of the airflow so the port and polish could really be noticed. So rather than buying an expencive CAI i found some Specter products that allowed me to construct a CAI however i ran it short to get a Ram intake. I will eventually spend the money on something a little less cheap but for now this does just what i need it to do.

After the cold air was installed however a proble began to arise, oil was seeping out of the breather, and a leak had sprung on the bottom end. To remedy the breather problem, as well as the billowing smoke at idle i constructed two catch cans. One for the PCV valve and one to branch from the tappet cover to the breather to help filter some of the saturated oil from the escaping air. Each cost roughly 20 to build and i call them my lowes special.
I got bored one day and desided to paint the valve cover and some of the bay components. I desided on a gray that was inspired by nissans very own skyline GTR. I dubed is Nismo grey. I took a hi temp base primer, a matte black, crome spray, and a hi temp cast iron. I primed and then painted on the matte black. From there i sprayed on the crome from roughly 2 ft and then immediatly began to spray on the cast iron. This is called wet coating. It allows the crom to begin to "float" in the iron paint giving a mettalic feel without the crome finish. The result is Nismo grey. I allowed that to dry and then clear coated. I did the same thing with the fuse box and the battery strap.
This is a pic of the engine as it is now with both catch cans installed...
