I have a 1966 Ford F-100 Twin I-Beam. It is a stepside longbed. I have the original title, and the original owners manual where the truck was purchased in Lavonia, Georgia in 1966 by a furniture company. The truck is partially restored. It has new paint, new flooring, new chrome bumper, new headlights and taillights, new headliner, and I have a ton of new interior parts yet to put on. I have new seals for the glass, new rattler kits for the windows, and new weatherstripping for the doors, even a new interior screw kit. The motor and transmission are out of a 1989 Ford Mustang - 5.0L V8. A previous owner decided instead of restoring the wooden bed they'd just weld sheet steel into the bed on top of the wood. I don't have a shop, so I can't take it out. I'm in the Army and am currently deployed to Iraq, and I can't take care of the truck anymore. It's currently sitting, where it's been for the past few years. It still runs strong, though the wheels are a bit rusty now. The paint still shines. It does need a lot of TLC. I am selling it for $7,000. The price is steep, but I've put a lot of money into it, and as stated in the title, it's the ONLY stepside LONGBED that I've ever seen, and I've looked for years. It currently resides in Grovetown, Georgia, just outside of Augusta. If anyone is interested please let me know. dejjen@yahoo.com. I'll post pics as soon as I can.
