As you can see I am in the process of a lot of body work, and as the other pics later show, things are moving fairly far along. The pics don't do the velvet black paint justice, most pictures are as I am completing work on the car and are DIRTY.

Basic premise of the project: A performance AC/AY body based on what would have been a Dodge version of the Imperial. Think a sportier, sleeker, smaller Imperial- and you get the idea. Has the Imperial front end, Dynasty wheel base, Dynasty rear end, less chrome than both and lots of black.

To make a Dodge version of the Imperial was pretty simple, the Dynasty has a shorter wheelbase, less chrome and no vynil roof (generally speaking) which gives a sleeker, sportier feel, same with the rear end of the body. It is also the lightest of the AC/AY bodies from a mass/weight perspective, with an Imperial front end, the right interior trim- the car pulls off the "Imperial look" just the way I wanted. There are lots of subtle body modifications done to this car to make it sleeker, like the "Buick" style grill with extensively modified header panel (shown above). Sadly no one seems to realize its a mopar anymore and everywhere I go I get some kind of "is that a Buick!?" comment.

I don't consider alot of the stuff on my car to be modifications or "bragging rights"- I don't follow the philosophy of going over the synthetic oil I use, how great my steering wheel cover is or any of that stuff. But for those curious I have a complete build list below of everything on the car at the moment- the big, important, the meaningless and everything inbetween.

Gotta love the people who take cardomain too seriously. I got this entertaining message on here on Feb. 7th 2010,

esdi92s 1992 Dodge Dynasty

It's from a gentleman by the name of "ZIPP1N-Z" who writes (in case you can't read it in the screenshot):

"Since i have already won show off of the week once and i am curently still sitting in the top 10 spot i felt like making another fake account and telling you people how i really feel so 1 star for your peace of sh!t and keep your one star ratings to your self and stay off my real page"

I think it would be fair to say, if you care about your cardomain rating this much without any kind of psychological illness to atribute it to, you're probably over compensating for something. However in this instance I don't believe that to be the case: all that pent up angst combined with the "I'm superior because I have a better rating on a cardomain account" sounds like an underlying psychological illness, and not one that should be left untreated. I actually feel sorry about someone with the intelliectual shortcomings that would seem to be a prerequisit for this type of childish behavior.
