I have owned two other Firebirds in the past. One was a 1984 Trans Am 5 speed and the other was a 1986 Formula auto with T-Tops. That was back in the early and mid 90's. The '84 I sold to get one with T-Tops which I then not long after purchased the '86. Sadly a few months later I was hit by a lady speeding out of a parking lot while I had stopped to back into a parking space. The car was totaled and at the time I needed a replacement car quickly and sooo..I got a good deal on a 1984 Pontiac Fiero SE. Over the years as anyone who knows me has seen I have collected quite a few Fieros and made many of them very unique including one called the Bengal Fiero.
Earlier this year my wife Alayne and I spotted a purplish 1995 Firebird with T-Tops for sale beside the road. We stopped to look at it and I was suddenly hit with the urge to own another T-Top Firebird, but this time I wanted a 4th generation bird. Though I didn't end up buying the one sitting beside the road, I am glad that I spotted it. I went on-line to see what was out there in my area and what a 4th generation Firebird was going for. I wanted a 4th gen as I love the newer sleek muscular look that as my wife puts it, seems very aggressive in styling. These are indeed the last of the muscle cars. I found two that I liked on autotrader and they were both located in the same town at two different used car lots. My wife and I drove to the first one as I really liked the look of it, which is the black with yellow stripes Trans Am that you see here. The other was a red Trans Am and...well... I never did make it to see the red one.
It features a totally unique custom paint job and a heavily beefed up engine. Except for the paint and engine rebuild everything else you see both on the outside and inside of the car, including all of the engine detailing and additional show off goodies I purchased and did myself.
