Daily commuter due to sky high taxes and fuel prices of ~$9 per US gallon here!

Its a sad day that i have had to downgrade to this, oh well at least i will have decent audio.

Day1
Stripdown and repair of previous owners "upgrade".

Standard door speaker grills

'upgraded' Kenwood speakers fitted by preious owner lol.

Standard width of front door hole, smaller than the speaker they tried to fit lol.

Available depth in the front doors.

Rear speakers, I thought i better check out what mess they had made of the rear doors after seeing the fronts.

After removing the rear speaker. They tried fitting speaker with 145mm width in 130mm holes and wonder why the door panel did not fit back on! 

Front door speaker and kick panel shown, quite a bit depth in the kicks by the look of it. I hear the call of the airsaw!

Standard Dash 4" midrange units an option if i want to go 4way active and a one seat wonder i guess.

Standard Boot(trunk), this is going to be fun trying to fit all the audio in such a small location.

Day2

Car frequency response measurement day &
Double check of the tape measurements of locations to decide what equipment to use.

The equipment im fitting is

Genesis S3 DMX (Left midrange & left tweeter amplifier)
Genesis S3 DMX (Right midrange & right tweeter amplifier)
Genesis S3 DMX  (subwoofer amplifier)
Phase Evolution 12si LTD(12" subwoofer)
Xetec P6 (scanspeak 15W & 6000 based drivers) in the kick/a-pillar.

Day3

The plan for day 3 is.
Cutting out of the kickpanel for the midrange driver and fitting of dynamat.
