Subaru brat 1800 hard top summer flyer.. Number of Previous Owners: 2 - Fuel: Petrol - Colour: Yellow - Engine Size (cc): 1781 - Date of 1st Registration .01/03/1993 - Pickup,, i have currently purchased this brat and it needs my loving, any brat experts out there?

Ive noticed that the stud pattern on the brat is very strange, ive got a spare set of original wheels currently off the vehicle that im cleaning up, i wanted to fit the biggest set of tyres i can without modding the arches or suspension, preferably on a set of alloys but finding ones to fit is a mission in its self,, two things i need to know, whats the biggest tyre size i can run on the standard rims? and what type of alloys will fit on this beast of a brat? or idealy does anyone know how i can mod the original stud pattern to make it more user friendly when finding alloys,??????

ive got 2 boxes that fit the back of the brat, one im keeping original and another that im planning a retro mod with, im into conoeing so i will use this as an aspect for the mod. im currently re-shapeing an A-frame roll bar for the back of the brat, in chrome, and i have the original spot lights off the roof. (wich i cant wait to fit), the bed of the brat is solid and needs little work, probably gunna choose a checker plate finish. the interior on the brat is going all black and chrome. CB radio is being fitted as we speek.
heres the cb fitted, ive also added some rear loading lights for when im out digging holes and working in the middle of the night, ive decided to add front faceing lights when i find a roll bar for the truck, the illumination at the rear i powerful, its also useful for when people drive up your ass with their mian beam on full, it tends to detere them very well.

Check out these rude boy twin airhorns for dispersing those pesky sheep and cattle, they are very loud and make people jump out of their skin.

i looked on ebay for days for parts for this subaru, and ive come to the conclusion that the brat is very uncommon, comeing across parts is like finding a bright orange rat in your bath, luckily i though i did manage to find this absolute bargain of a deal, beleive it or not this only cost 5 British pounds.-- look at this bull bar- like new.

Wheels next- They need sorting!PLEASE RATE MY VEHICLE AND LEAVE COMMENTS all comments welcome i need feedback Ive added this siren for fun and games, very useful when some old biddy is driving at 10mph infront of you, simply push the button and she will just pull over and move out of your way- very funny indeed, also useful for when some knobber cuts you up because you can throw abuse at them without even stepping out of the vehicle. check the pic.
Interior revamp stage 1 . before
interior revamp stage 2 . after.
interior revemp stage 3 dash board.
i have resprayed the dash board, all plastic trims that run up to roof lineing, roof lineing, back board inside the cab, door trims and centre console. im currently recovering the original seats rather than replaceing them, and completely redoing the floor carpet and matts. Im also considering LPG conversion..it looks like it could fit with a few mods here and there.

i have now started to refurbish the plastics on the outside of the wagon, ive started with the rear bumpers and tow bar. Ive taken the trims off the car and am currently painting them their original colours.
Went camping on the weekend, check out this mobile BBQ unit. Wicked fun.

There were loads of crack lights on the front, ive replaced all cracked glass with new and replaced all the headlight and indicator housings with new,i also decided to cut the bull bar down because it was too bigh for the vehicle

The front end has been completely resprayed and put back together, some of the plastics have been replaced because there was a bit of a bend in the front end. The bull bar has been reduced to a shunt bar and does its job well, the spotlights on the bull bar are currently being cleaned but will be replaced soon.

ive added this switch into the dash to run the spot lights on the front.

Spotters are very bright and help when driving off road at night.

changed the foot pedals to these rude looking ones.

Ive put a a CD player and 1kw amp and sub behind the seats, the gold box in the picture is the CB preamp that boosts the signal.
