This is my brand new Honda civic LX. I have done no modifications other than car audio. In that department i have installed alot.... i have installed 2 pairs of MTX 6 1/2" Coaxials in the front and back, and have an MTX TC6001 600w powering 2 Kicker 05CVR12's (comp VR 12" - 300w each) and it's loud!!!!! I also have Dynamat extreme in the doors and rear ledge and plan to do the whole car soon.

Here I parked at the local superstore and saw a line of black civics. I sure have a rare car! :(

This is the pic of my subs installed in the trunk (and yes they barely fit!)...

For the future I plan to add a 4 channel amp for the speakers, upgrade the fronts to components, add 2 kicker 6" midbass and an amp for those, as well as finish the dynamat. I am going to keep the stock "deck" because a)its expensive to replace, and b) i like the clean look. I was thinking about fiberglassing a custom dash but with the other car projects i have goin on right now i just dont have the time (story of my life by the way!!!)

Update May 25th, 2007:
After the stock deck failed I decided to look into getting a new head unit for the car. At the time, Future Shop had a nice DVD player for sale so I bought a JVC KD-AVX-11. It's one of the ones with the smaller 3.0" screens right in the face. I got a dash kit off ebay after looking for one for almost 6 months now. They threw in a free wire harness and it all looks absolutely awesome now! (sorry about the bad quality picture)

Update Sept 10th, 2007:
Well I made a purchase that was i was skeptical about. Some Blue anodized aluminum Lug nuts for the car. After installation they actually look pretty good and give the car a good look without being ugly like some things.

Update Apr 29th, 2008:
The Honda did not have a very good weekend. On Friday the MTX amp blew fuses int the amp itself. I was able to narrow it down to an internal short, but to make the long story short... It's screwed. After some brief correspondence with MTX customer service i found that being that the amp is 2 years old it has no warranty. They want me to ship it to Richmond for repair costing $220. I dont have the money right now so I pulled my baby's out of the car for now as to not be wasteful on gas ($1.41 Can/L).

And then... I was driving downtown Monday morning when I pulled up to a stop sign and the engine made a squeak and stalled. I started it again think that that was weird. I got to the next stop sign and the car started smoking hardcore. I Immediately pulled over and shut it off. I opened the hood to examine and the serpentine belt was shredded all over the place into a couple of pieces. I got the car towed to the dealer using Honda roadside assistance (Free!!!) They called me last night and said that the water pump, a couple of pullies and the belt will have to be replaced. Hopefully I get it back today.
