Gotta love free front row parking everywhere I go. haha
well as some of the last leaves fall here in CT its almost time to put the truck away. Its been a long 2 months for me ad the truck. I started by tearing the bed off in september. I had just been having too may stupid issues with the truck so I made the call to just go ahead and replace most of the air ride. It was an old setup and pritty carelessly put together so i started from almost scratch. As for the bags and airline all that still remains the same. The 1/2' hydraulic line is almost bullet proof so no need for a change. As for the valves they were all pritty much shot from having 2 edc's blow and shoot oil into the tank. Found out the pressure switch was shot apon taking the tank off to be cleaned which had to be the cause of the edc's blowing. So 8 new 1/2' GC 250 Xtreme valves went on, 2 new 1/2' SMC check valves and a new 165/200 psi pressure switch as well. The wiring job on the valves was a hack so all that got redone and routed thru the frame. I never had a tank gauge and was out of fittings on the tank so off of my Viair leader hose i ran a brass 3/8' T fitting with a 1/8' fitting for smaller airline. In between the leader hose and 3/8' T i added a 1/2' SMC checkvalve as well. The tank pressure gauge is now located in the ashtray inside the cab.
I've got quite a few pictures to upload here so check back for updates
