My Tempest has looked better! This car was bought from original owner in Wyoming. The body is being restored now. The interior is all original and in mint condition! The engine is 326 c.i.d. Numbers match, of course. I put on an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and 625 c.f.m. four-barrel Road Demon Jr. carb. The vehicle title I got from the little old lady was manually type-written and Cheyenne, Wyoming didn't even have a zip-code in 1965!

The frame was blasted, two rusted areas have been cut out and repaired. The frame has been multi-coated and rust-proofed. New bushings and grommits all the way around the frame.

We spot-welded in some lower panel skins, but the steel looked really good all the way around after sanding....

the trunk pan was removed and the whole underbody has been shot with multi-coat rustproofing.

The whole front end has been removed, for new wheel housing, engine cleaning, new headers and replacement of the powerglide two-speed. after rustproofing, engine compartment and exterior will all be painted original Montero Red. I will put in power steering and power brakes as well. I am debating whether to put in disc brake system.

This is the car when i picked it up from owner.
