Wow, put the piggy back ecu on this weekend, it helped to bring the car to life some, though scared the crap out of myself when installing it. I had everything hooked up and tucked back in nice and neat, and when I went to start the car it started up... then stalled out by itself. So I started it again... same results (by the way it was in neutral this whole time with my foot on the clutch to start it). So I'm thinking to myself, great I just f***ed myself. So I ripped it all back apart and here it was just that the MAF (mass air flow) sensor wasn't making contact. So it's back up and running now and I don't know yet if it was worth the steep price ($425 w/shipping) but it seems to have awakened the car some more.

Was able to use the shop at my dad's work today so I decided to go ahead and rotate my tires (despite having less than 2500 miles on the car) and paint my brake calipers. I chose black because it went with the car and I also plan on painting the car a dark color later on. Wasn't really hard, just went crazy with the tape, but too much is better than too little. They look pretty nice, and while I had the car on a lift I also went ahead and changed the front and rear differential fluid to full synthetic. But while I was under the car I decided to go ahead and kill off 3 cans of under coating, plus paint my rear differential black. Over all it took about 2 hours to complete.
Pictures will be on page 2.

So I've hit a stop for now on what I can do to the car, mainly because of the money factor. So for now I'm trying to think of some DIY mods I can do to the car. So far I've started to paint under the hood. The theme will be silver and black for under the hood. I've already painted some, but still have to get creative to finish it up. I'll update with pics along the way. Also ordered my new speakers, $160 for 4 pioneer 3-ways. So til I get some more money this will be the most I'm spending on it for a while (except the car payments).

So last night I found a shop that says they can take measurements of the exhaust manifold. So depending on the price I may have some custom headers made here soon. Though I will have to decide if it is worth it still, due to the fact it would only boost about 3 to 5 hp. But the car would sound nicer, so it is tempting...
Oh and the speakers should be arriving tomorrow so I'll update with pics when I get them, and i'll let you know how they sound.

Bought some new Sylvania Silverstar Ultra Headlights at my local Advanced Auto (kinda just one of those impulse buy). Only took like 20 minutes to install, and there alto brighter. I still plan to install H.I.D.s later, but for now these are more in my price range (since my buddy works there and I get a 20% discount). Plus I enjoy blinding people at night, and of course the added night vision.
Oh and I plan on installing the new speakers tomorrow (my camera batteries are currently dead, but i'll try to get some more pics up soon)

So yeah I was going to install the new speakers this weekend, but just never got around to it. But the new head lights are nice. Saturday night (or sunday morning) I was driving around and really noticed the difference. I would defiantly recommend them for anyone. Hopefully the speakers will be put in sometime this week since I have off work for the next 3 days. I'll also post more pics probably tomorrow.

I Installed the speakers last night, they sound so much better I can't believe it. I went ahead with Pioneer speakers this time because they were in my price range ($160 for 4 speakers). In my last car I went with a complete Kicker system, but after hearing these Pinoneer's in my little RollerSkate I think I might have switched sides. They are only 3 way though since the 4 ways were too much money for me currently. I'm also making plans on replacing the tweeters here soon, though I'll have to fiberglass the new ones in since I can't find a size match for the stock ones. Then it'll be on to the subs.

Ordered Stealth Signal Light Bulbs today, wow there expensive. Don't know truly why I ordered them, but I think they'll look nice in the car. Also with funds running low I don't know how much more I'm gonna do to the car for now anyway. I'm also thinking a lot about getting a bike so money will be even harder to get a hold of.

Took my car out last night with my buddy to see what the 0-60 time was. Stock 0-60 time is like 9.3 according to suzuki (doesn't specify weather auto or clutch). I know the car is faster than that, though even with the mods I did to it I only expected to get to the low to mid 8's (talking 0-60 here). We went out on a flat stretch of highway at like 8pm and took 3 runs. Running on 89 octane with me as the driver I hit 7.6 in the first run, 7.4 in the second, and 7.4 in the third. I was surprised when he told me the times. I doubt that Suzuki posted the correct times on their site. I do have a clutch though so they may have tested the auto. Either way I am extremely happy with my little Roller Skate's performance. Hopefully before too long I can take it to a track and see if I can shave some time off the stock 16. something stock 1/4 mile time.

Going to install the stealth signal light bulbs today, they were pretty costly, but I think they'll look pretty nice on the car. Only bought them for the front, the back signal lights will still be amber. Will update with pics.

Installed the Road Race Motorsports Front and Rear anti-sway bars. Also changed the tranny fluid to full synthetic. The anti-sway bars weren't too bad, though the front anti-sway bar took a while to figure out, and a few hits of my head on the frame.

Sorry I haven't been to update my page in awhile. It's been pretty hectic for a while and I've been working on my bike for a while, but I'll update pics and info here soon, and probably throw a few pics of my bike up.
