April 2008
Bought me this '78 Mk1 LS1100. I just could not resist after seeing the condition she is in. Very close to perfect and 100% original.
Getting my Caddy back on the road is now priority, but I already made up my mind with what I'm going to with her, Old School for sure. Inside & outside colour the same as now (original), motor wise not yet sure turbo or N/A and wheels will be either 14" or 15" slammed on a set of coil-overs.
I already bought a set of wheels for her, only four days after I bought her...
'83 15" BBS RA, just need some center caps, a refurb and a set of stretched low profile tyres.
Will be fitting them to get a feeler after I bought some wheel botls, the std ones are too short.

I started with the strip-down. It sent rather fast. Most of the parts I removed have not been removed since she was built, so I felt rather privileged. The outside and inside is partly stripped and the motor is still in. These will be next, hopefully within the next two to three weeks. So far I had no nasty surprises and is very impressed with the condition.
November 2008
I had a change for heart and decided that I rather resore Goldie to her former glory than to jst chop her up to make "another" Euro old school Golf. I am actually glad I made the decision and is looking very forward to actually doing it. I think it will be much better. Finding a pristine, complete and good condition example like her is a once in a life time change not to be messed up. Oh, and I will be getting another one soon, a Mars Red example, which is also still in a very good conditon!
