This is my brand new 2008 Odyssey in Japan. The US market definitely needs to get minivans like the Japanese ones. Completely different look compared to the 2008 Honda Odyssey in the US.
2.4L engine making 200hp. Doesn't sound like it would be as quick as the American Odyssey with a V6, but for someone who's never liked 4cyl, this engine matched with its tranny, is very impressive to me! The suspension is the biggest difference. It's not bouncy at all, and all over the place. Very controlled and tight. The Yokohama AVS tires make driving through twisty roads very enjoyable.
Navigation with DVD playback and HDD recording really make the entertainment system worth keeping. I like how smooth the interior with the sleek lines and accents. I never thought I would enjoy driving a minivan, but I love this car. Looks very cool and low, and drives great.
