This is our trusty Mitsubishi L300 FB. She was bought brand new last December of 2005.

Days after we got her, I bought two sets of horns and installed them just inside the bumper opening.
Chrome, big, truck-style side mirrors and Deflecta Shield tinted window visors..very neccesary exterior accessories for the daily drives she face.

Inside, added some fancy pedal covers c/o SULIT.COM.PH..painted the gauge insert (
jumped in the bandwagon) , forward part of the dashboard metal insert, part of the door handles and the center part of the steering wheel. That's what happened on Sundays where after you clean your car, you think on what to alter from the manufacturer's point-of-view design. Not much view of the back but exaclty the same as the product brochure at the top part pic

I bumped a gas station sign with the rear left portion of the van. I bought a new tail light lens. As I was hammering the metal frame back to shape, I thought of using the same paint I used on the interior to paint this and the other side as well.

I drive this car most of the days of the week so I got to have some more-than-ok sound system. It got a Prestige mp3 player (now using a Pioneer..will take pics), 4ch Alpine Amp, 1farad Pyle capacitor (useful when i hook up subs), and two Alpine Type-E 6x9s on custom door pods I made myself. I only need 8gauge Streetwires power cables coz the 13-plate battery is just under the Pyle capacitor location!
I made an amp rack and covered it in the same gray leather material that I used in the door pods. Extra cork board and leather was useful in making some panels just above the cap and where the top seat bolt is mounted.
Oh yeah, I had to put extra heat insulations on the cab interior from the pedal area to the back wall coz the engine is right below the front seats. It helps! I keep the airconditioning system in tip-top shape so those rumors on L300s who have poor aircon systems dont get on this one. hehe
I put in a single 10" in a bandpass enclosure sub in the middle floor of the front cab when space permits me coz the back is loaded w/ people or equipment oftentimes. A not-quite big amp means not-much volume on the bass frequencies and that keeps me safe from blowing out my eardrums. But I got to tell you, bridging the Alpine 6x9s is way too loud but still clean & crisp.
Fancy neon lights. At least when you roll at nights, you roll ins style...somewhat! Lolz.

I was able to get these 2006 Honda CRV rims with the 205/70/15 Yokohama tires (thread still quite thick)for only $288.46 on SULIT.COM.PH also. Extra special thanks to 2GO courier service for the extra special handling in transporting the rims from Manila to Cebu in just 2days...cost me only $14.42. There seems to be some paint bubbles on the rim but that's just water that I didnt wipe it dry. I really had a good deal on this one.
But I had a machine shop make the inner part of the center hole a bit bigger coz it wouldnt match the drum brakes' inner circle part and the front hubs where the bearing cap grease is mounted..just $17.63 for the 4 rims though. I just had to use the rims w/o the center caps. It might end up in someone's pocket. This van goes anywhere.
