rohling's 1971 Datsun 521

Purchased a few years back with a tired but working LZ22 painted an ugly green. I've since removed the motor and will be rebuilding it for my 510. I've removed the roof shingles that the previous owner put in for sound deadening under the carpet. I'm swapping the fenders with some that have had bodywork done. I removed some purple tint. I removed the S-10 bench seat for some Honda buckets, but I'd like to find a stock 521 seat or maybe put some 510 buckets in. I got some American Racing gambler 15x8 wheels wrapped in Kumho tires. Currently it has a stock swap L16 and 4-speed. Runs great. I always get waves, thumbs ups, or comments on Blue.

I also have a white 1972 521 with title, registered non-op, that I'm considering rebuilding but would gladly trade for a 510 wagon to get the motivation going. As it sits, it has no motor, and I have the stock 4-speed. It ran when I parked it, then I pulled the motor for Blue. I have the LZ22 from Blue, and an L20b sitting in my garage and I'm trying to decide what to do next. If you have a clean 510 wagon in Northern California, and want to trade for the white truck, let me know.

Ah, the original Minitruckers. Dont agree with the rims, but i suffer from bad car nestalgia. Looks great with the rims anyway. I have always wanted a Datsun pickup. 5 stars, keep me posted on plans to add more badass to it.
