
My current modifications are the upgraded Diamond Back American Racing Wheels wrapped with Bridgestone Dueler A/T 285/75/16's they have lasted my a good 75,000 and I plan on getthing the same size after this summer. These current pics are when I got the truck. Currently the paint is not as good and I got into a wreck that totaled the truck but I bought it back from the insurance company for about 1000 and fixed up the reqired damaged areas. I upgraded the bumper with one that has fog light holes and I like it but the bumper needs painted but i have pushed it off until now. I am buying an aftermarket ram air hood and will get my whole truck re painted and am thinking of going with dark gray matalic.

Rancho Other mods consiste of RSX shocks and MagnaFlow exhaust. I have replaced the air filter with a K & N filter but not the whole intake system as per some guidance from some mechanics that recommended otherwise for my model year truck. I have replaced my computer with a Wester Power Garage Computer to get rid of the governor limitations and to correct my speedometor with the oversized tires. I have also added the power aid throtle body spacer and have seen some minor MPG gains.
I am roughly getting 14 MPG in city and 16 highway.
I am looking hard into the options of supercharger or turbo charger but I have not ran into a great decision on this choice. Ok so I think Whipple is the only Supercharger group that makes one for the 5.7 liter but I would have to go with 91 octain and I don't think I am ready for that since this is my daily driver.

I am looking for any advise any other 5.7 liter tahoe drivers have going good for them.
