Shmak1982's 1979 Pontiac Phoenix

This is "Phoenix". It's a 1979 Pontiac Phoenix that has been in the family since it was born. My uncle bought it for my grandma new in 1979 and it was the last car she ever owned. She drove it until she passed in 1997 at which time it became mine. My uncle drove it for a short time between then and when I turned 16. It was my first car and due to that and it's family history I will never part with it, even if I can never afford to restore it. I have a lot of pictures of it, but they are all polaroids from way before I had a digital camera. If I ever get them scanned them to disk I'll post them. Unfortunately there are no photos of it new, only after I got it, which it was already in pretty bad shape. It's only got 62,000 actual miles on it, but the motor is shot. I have a replacement motor for it, but haven't installed it because I'm not sure that I want to keep it a V6. I really want to find a Pontiac 326 V8 for it.
Shmak1982's 1979 Pontiac PhoenixI took these wheels off a 1983 Olds Cutlass. It's the same car that I got the new engine from.
