Here is my 82 Mercury Capri. I hopped on a train, apparently went straight to the 80's and brought a car back. Seriously I live in Havre, MT and hopped on a train here and rode it to Seattle and got a ride to Mount Vernon from a friend and picked it up with intentions to drive it all the way back to Havre. The car has a 302, T-tops and a 4 speed manual.
Here I am less than 5 minutes after picking up the car.

Here is a recenl exterior picture, I have really only replaced the grille out here.
and the 302 under the hood. Found a dead mouse on the intake manifold. Smells great, trust me.

I see a lot of potential there. Obviously you are a competent mechanic or you would not have taken such an adventure! I wonder if these cars were actually used in the Can-Am races? That would be some great background info.
