$600 is pretty damned good for new rims. I found my Enkeis at a pawn shop, and got them for $400. They're in decent shape, but definitely not new, and have another Summer or two left on the tires if I'm lucky. I'm not looking forward to paying for new tires. I haven't checked out prices yet, but I'm guessing they're gonna be pricey. Thanks for pointing me to that site, I think that's where I'll get rims for the Nissan.

I love a nice, deep exhaust tone. I find high-pitched farting noises irritating. Every time I start my Nissan up, it farts like that, reminding me that I need to buy a new muffler. Needs a whole cat-back, actually. Anyway, yeah- there's lots of good stuff on Ebay, too. It just takes a bit of patience to sort it out from the ocean of crap. I admit, the stuff I bought that ended up being crap could have been avoided if I had just done the research first. I'm gonna check out that site you got your rims off of. Those are pretty nice, and my Nissan needs some de-uglification.

lol, plastic-driving janitors unite! You've got a good start. Good choice of rims, and the clear corner lights are something I want to do with mine, too. My car's exhaust is a very low rumble, not ricey at all. My setup is a 1 3/4" pipe with a big glass pack instead of a muffler. Your intake with make a big difference, too- the stock air box is designed to muffle your engine, and it's good at doing it. Get rid of it, and throw something else in. I started out with an Ebay kit right when I got the car, but last Summer I built and installed a Spectre kit. I swear, sometimes these Ebay kits aren't even made for the right car! AEM also makes intakes for our cars, and they're probably the best. Not a cheap alternative, though. Keep up the good work and good luck with your future projects!
