This is the history of my Car

She is named after a Steven King movie

The car is a 1995 Dodge Neon base Model, with the only factory options as; Rear window defroster, AM/ FM cassette radio, Air condition, Power steering, 6-speaker sound system, and pained silver steal wheels. It now has on the other hand been upgraded with such factory options as; Tilt steering with a 1998 R/T leather steering wheel, cruise control, tachometer, fog lights, two-tone look with 1998 black dash pieces, Center console with a arm rest, 60/40 rear fold down seat, high back front seats, 5 lug conversion, 3.94 performance A transmission, front and rear Mopar Performance Sway bars, Power locks, mirrors, and windows. Yeah it even has a real Doge Viper key for it; for real just ask me! All upgraded parts were from the most part, from a wrecked 1998 R/T.

The reason I have named the car after the Steven King move “Christine” is in the movie the car keeps coming back from the dead, and my baby keeps on doing the same. She has been in 2 major accidents, one was 5% under total, and the other was a total loss. Every time the car was in an accident she comes back even better than before. The first month I got the car I had the first accident with her. It was some little old lady, she just merged into my lane, she sideswiped my car… that should have been a sign right there. About 2 months later I was walking out to my car, it was in a parking lot, and a guy in a big F350 was backing out of his spot, and he went right over my car. It only scratched the hood, and he gave me cash for it. About 3 or 4 months later I was out getting paint to fix the hood when, I was by a 71 El Camino. I was sitting at a red light, and BOOM! He wacked me head on, that was the one that was 5% under total. Then after I had the car for about one year, there was a very bad hailstorm, and it even busted my front window. About 4 months after that, one night I was at a party, and someone back right into my rear bumper, and split it wide open. Then one year to the day the guy hit me head on, a Jeep Cherokee pulled right out in front of me. I was going about 45mph when I hit his passenger side, I T-boned the Jeep, which was the one that totaled the car. It was so bad that the whole front frame had to be rebuilt! The next to last one was just back in 2001 I slid out in the snow and hit a guard rail, it only bent my front suspension, and messed up my driver side rear door. The last one was in September of 2001; a possum ran out in the road, and well… I killed it. I was driving and it ran right out in front of me, I tried to miss it, but it cut right back to the car. It messed up the front bumper, and busted out the fog light. The grill part of the bumper was in the fog light, which is how hard it was pushed back. But hey the car keeps on coming back, and even better than before!!!

I have done all the work performed to the car except for something’s like; the leatherwork, and painting the body of the car. I have made a lot of things for the car custom, or just prefabricated it out of my own ideas. I have been involved in every part of the application process of the car; from the day I got her.
