Here's my 2006 Honda CBR1000RR which I bought brand new as a dealer leftover in 2007 then sold it in 2008 after only 1 year of owning it!! In fact I only put 1400 miles on it before letting it go. I didn't lose too much on it so it wasn't that bad but somebody got a good deal with an extended warranty! For you car guys out there you don't know fast until you've ridden a 1000cc+ sportbike. These things are freakin' ridiculous!! The bike mags clocked it around 10 flat in the 1/4 mile!! That's just downright sick. You need to push over 500RWHP in the average weight car to play with one of these bad body.

Awesome vette, and thanks for the engine build story. Always great to verify the feasibility of these upgrades. Did you do all the work yourself or take it to a shop? "FLP 1 3/4" LT's and an off-road X-pipe" - do you mean SLP? Did the header upgrade give you any kick, by itself?
