No seets, Wireing is all over the place. but this car has potential. I think im going to put a 318 under the hood, its already got a full exhaust system with glass packs, and the tranny is still good. its going to be a looong project. also leave me your oppinion, should i put in the 318 or somthing else? there is a very limited engine supply around these parts.

Hello, Best wishes guys on the rebuild! 5 stars for your car and page. I think you should put a 350 in with some headers - make it sound mean;-) Take care, Jeff

Thanks for the great comments- We don't have any tracks around that run 1/4 they are all 1/8 mile- with the new 408 motor the car now runs 7.50 91mph in the 1/8 with street/drag tires through the pipes- the hp is 530 and the torque weight is 500- I really love it. We just went on a 350 mile trip this past weekend driving the car and got 13 mpg - in the road- It has to have 93 octane gas but it runs really good and has a lot of power. I like your ride also-- it is so much fun to have the older cars and out run the new model cars- I have a lot of fun running Mustangs they don't think my old car will run-- but they soon realize they were very wrong !!!! (haha)

Hey Dustin, it don't look like anything is going on with this project. Don't give up. The things you will learn will be an adventure you will never forget. Dad
