10/13/08 finshed my model of my truck. its got all the same stuff,  like a 300 trubo 4x4 and MUD!!!!!!

went offroading this weekend. got it stuck on about 40" of water! ok really didnt get stuck but sucked in some water.300-l6-f150talla's 1979 Ford F-Series Pick-Up yellow springs, OH - 21 300-l6-f150talla's 1979 Ford F-Series Pick-Up yellow springs, OH - 25

10/09/08 just got a "new" trans for a $110 it even came with a t-case. some one had taken the top off and didnt get it back on right so it wouldnt shift. not hard to fix.  

10/02/08 cut and choped the bumper up and now it looks like it was made for it.

8/23/08 lost my bumper just going throught a hole.

8/11/08 lost revers. because i was pulling out a 7500lbs f250hd.

new 38.5x15x15 gumbo monster mudder. got them 4 $30

i bout this truck for 750. the kid didnt know that it had a clogged fuel filter so i just put a new one on and off we went.

 


this is a turbo manifold for a ford 300 l6.
this is my 1979 ford f150 xlt custom. its got a 300 l6 t18 4x4

 


just installed a step bumper off a bucket truck with a 8000lbs winch.


i installed a hood scoop off a 1969 CJ mustang.

As of right now i dont plan on making it a daily driver, yeah the mileage and price of gas will be a factor when it comes time to make that change, my plans have plenty of time to change in the two years that i am in college.

well i'm not quite sure yet on the motor, i start college in the fall for Automotive Technology so most of my money will being going to school, but right now i'm thinking of putting a 460 in and a 5-speed tranny, something like that if i can.

Got a new truck i see...i like this body style better than i like the 85, and yet you still got a 300 thats cool, i've been doing work on my '60 you should check it out sometime. and tell which paint scheme you think looks better on the second page. later
