These are pics from the first day I brought this car home. It had all of 9 miles on the odometer. Bought with 5sp manual transmission, 14" Kumho tires w/stock rims, manual locks, windows, etc., am/fm2/cd stereo. Nothing fancy, but a great base to expand.
I haven't even had the car for a full year, yet, and it already has over 34k on the odometer. Shows how much fun this thing is to drive.
Now for the upgrades. The first thing on the list was to get the windows tinted.

Then it was time to get rid of the Kumho tires (which were not wearing very well) and the stock rims. While shopping for wheels, I found a great site. www.tirerack.com will let you preview what the wheels will look like on your vehicle before you decide what to buy. I finally decided to buy a set of American Racing "Sniper II" wheels from americanracing.com. I ordered them through Goodyear and had the Goodyear Assurance tires added. This greatly improved the ride and handling of the car.
As you can see in the photo below, the only problem I had was they sent the wrong lug nuts with the wheels, so I had to use the stock ones for now.
But I am well pleased with the overall look of the car now.
Then I picked up a LeBra hood protector from jcwhitney.com. Five minutes installation.
