BigRedMopar's 1969 Volkswagen Beetle

The SprayPaintSpecial
This modified 1969 VW bug has been in the works for over 6 years total now and I've done what I could slowly while attending school and working to buy parts. It is finally just about how I want it and after several different "spray special" paint jobs the curent flat khaki is gonna stay...for awhile at least. I've done tons of body work on this car and customized/modified many aspects of it. As you can tell, the car is slammed, shaved, striped, swapped and left with just the essentials for a great ride to cruise at the beach in. Plain and simple, old school, minimalistic, Volksrod....call it whatever you want, but its the SprayPaintSpecial to me, my street-legal (maybe not) Go-Cart.

Why "Der Schatten" (the shadow)? What do you want to say with it?

nice bug indeed, those checkered door panels are fantastic :P so i didnt vote on your poll, cuz IMHO, the best thing to do isnt listed there... since it looks like you are going for the rat-rod look, i would go with a choptop but keep the roof, chop the front like 4 inches down and leave the back at normal height to give the roof a nice rake to it; looks ill... or if you do go for a chopped windsheild, you should put a carson top on it, then you can have the convenience of a vert, with a sweet rod look. just a thought.

Which wheels are you running? I like the fancy ones, they look great.
