Hi there everyone. My dad just bought me a 1974 Gold Duster for my first car. It currently is all original stock except for a new fuel pump and filter. I know it is a 225 slant six. Later on we're going to drop a 360 engine in there and give it that muscle car feeling. Right now , due to budget, we are working on the basics, such as; CRACKED EXHAUST MANIFOLD
UPDATE:
My dad figured it out yesterday that whoever put in the carb doesn't know how and F'd it up so my dad decided to get a new carb for it and he is going to install it when it comes in.
UPDATE #2:
we raised the back end up, We installed Gas-a-just Shocks. We just realized it has a cracked exhaust manifold , so our top priority is that. then over time we are going to throw in the 8.25 differential and 360 with headers and dual exhaust!
UPDATE #3:
We Replaced the cracked exhaust manifold, bought a super six setup and decided we are just going to put in a 318, 340, or 360 in.
UPDATE #4:
We bought a '72 Dart swinger parts car with a 273 commando motor in it and we have taken that, the tranny, the rear end, and the exhaust system out and we are in the process of rebuilding the engine and painting all the stuff to get ready to put in my car.
