This is my 1965 ford econoline that I found on craigslist for $1,500. It has a 170 c.i. engine, 3 speed tranny. It supposedly had only 29,000 original miles, and has been siting in this guys backyard since he bought it from the orig. owner 2 years ago. theres NO rust, and has been an AZ. car its whole life. theres a couple of dents on the back corners, and a few on the nose also but nothing bad. Other then the losing the brakes on the way home she ran great, and since day one it has been my daily driver/project/time away fom the old lady. olot of parts were missing or broken i.e. ash tray, sun visor, glove box, orig seats, heater, Passenger side vent window, key hole covers, and some others that i cant remember right now. Lucky there was 2 66 econos in a junk yard a few miles away that ive been picking clean for the past few weeks.

The first few days.

I have a friend that had all this Glassuit primer laying around, so one day we thought it would be a good idea to have some beers and get rid of the multi-color.

This is a sun visor that his brother made me since all it had was the bar/bracket

theres alot that ive done to the engine recently. (Thank god for performance inline), and im wanting to go to discs soon, and would also like to slam it, but havent figured out how im going to do it. Does anyone have any info on lowering these correctly? ill post more pics soon.

nice Econo. Check out http://www.classicinlines.com/default.asp and cliffordperformance for great parts for your Econo. Classic inlines is right in your neighborhood. For front disc brakes check out dennis@dddiscbrakes.com and rear disc brakes willwood.com. I have known a lot of people that have slammed their Econos and not one of them was happy with it.

I've wondered if 4-links in front and rear would work, keeping the solid front axle. I think IFS would be a tricky mod. There are a couple approaches to replacing leaf springs, but usually they talk about rear leafs, not fronts... why not fronts? I'd like that on mine, too, on air! Come join us in the Vanner group... there's a guy in scottsdale there that has an early chev I think... you could connect! Cheers! Corey.

Hmmmm.... one headlight? Black bumper...I would be interested in seeing more pics of your ride. I do like those clear markers too. I had been wondering if they fit the 65.
