This is my 2006 Soul Food Solstice. This car has been a featured SEMA car 2 years in a row and was just recently on the set of the Fast and the Furious 4 as a background shot vehicle.
The car was originally built by Rick Bottom motorsports for Eclipse audio and was featured in their booth at SEMA 2006. It then was purchased by Hahn Racecraft for their turbo system product development and currently holds the record for the fastest ecotec powered solstice boasting over 440 hp and a 1/4 et of 11.90.
The car features a Hahn Racecraft Stage IV turbo system with 20G turbo. The valve train has been upgraded with stiffer springs and retainers to handle the 20+ psi of boost on the stock 10.5:1 bottom end.
These ecotec engines have proven to handle double power gains over stock on the stock bottom end.
The car features 19inch Konig Privat wheels with Dunlop SP9000 rubber. It has 2inch drop eibach sportline springs with matching eibach upgraded sway bars. A stage IV custom clutch setup gets power planted to the rear wheels and SSB Big Brakes kit boosts the stopping power.
Body is mostly stock except for the custom Red Black and Silver paint with the exception of the added Razzi Wing and Ferrari style center exit exhaust diffuser. Exhaust system is a stainless 3 inch center dual setup from Solo Performance. Interior accents including the dash surround and trim were also painted in matching metallic silver.
