i promise its the same truck

chopped 'A-pillar' and added rollbar from a jeep.

awesome donor vehicle: my former daily driver, a slammed 1991 ford aerostar cut down into a pickup

(more info on page 2)

lost my license for a year as of november 2009, so time to go a little crazy...and i really miss my truck. soon to cut apart my donor vehicle for engine, radiator, tranny, driveshaft, rearend, gastank, wheels/tires and whatever else i can think of. plan on move the rear axle forward about 25 inches and will be reworking the interior and rewiring just about the whole truck. gonna weld the doors shut and completely shave the doors altogether.

finished vehicle will be as follows:

1986 toyota pickup minus the bed, top, and front body pieces. Engine and tranny from the aerostar, with a wheelbase of around 93 inches will make this thing the coolest new age rat rod roadster and it'll keep up with a new camaro ss or challenger srt8.

It's a little concerning that you are cutting sooo much off of your truck. What's the plan for it?

i like how original it is, it seems like it needs a flat bed made of some kind of industrial looking metal or something, anyway, 5 stars for originality and personality, it is ugly but thats not all that matters when it comes to custom work, good job.
