Had an elderly gentelman pull out in front of me the other day and suffice to say I was unable to avoid hitting him, so I called the police feeling like it was no fault of my own, as the gentlemen took off in his car. I waited for the cop to get there, and report the hit and run, only to find out according to him it was my fault, first thing he said was I was probably going to fast. immediately judging me by what I drove. But since the guy took off he wasn't going to write me a ticket. so apart from my hood not poping up when I pop it. the damage was only astetic. I thought to have my clutch in before the hit so so tranny trouble.
so I did some sanding and cutting
and now just like me it has it's good side and it's bad.
***But if one of my fellow celica owners out there happens to have these parts available for purchase please let me know. just the center hood and bottom lip in carbon fiber preferably. It would be much appreciated.***
1990 Toyota Celica GT 5speed manual (ST184)
This car is hopefully going to get me through the next couple of years. but right now just making it through the winter would be awesome. Then I'm hoping a 5th or 6th gen celica GT4. As for this car I'm gonna keep it simple, and mostly a stock JDM, and hopefully reliable.and i pray it makes it through the winter without any problems.
I did want it to look nice though, so First I ordered some JDM smoked turn signals and fitted em' with silverstar amber bulbs.
The Muffler was starting to go bad and I saw this carbon fiber 3a racing muffler. I live by a lot of old people and didn't want to wake up the neighbors, so a silencer was a must. 60 bucks though. No thank you, 2 inch exhaust pipe, with washer around it and a cone with the tip cut off at 1 1/4 inch. Then I just epoxied it all together, and fit it in there. Sounds great, low and deep, plus I kept a lot off back pressure so I was pleased. and I just wrapped some steel hangers and fashioned the exhaust hanger. Not pretty but it works.
Would like to get JDM vented yellow back corner lights. For the JDM one color wrap around.tinted the front corners. Used regular window tint, applied to top of corner light, and then sprayed over it with some krylon clear coat. It is holding up well.
Carbon Fiber windshield wipers.
