I just got a Viper Alarm/Remote Start system in the truck. Yeah, remote start on a manual, its pretty sick. The alarm is the Viper 5701 model. It controls passenger and driver side windows as well as my rear slider window. When armed all windows automatically close. Nothing too fancy although I am thinking I should have spent the extra cash for the one mile remote, maybe later. Thanks for checking out the ride. Keep checking back. Ill post pics of the alarm remotes and such for evidence of this. Upcoming plans for this summer are a paintjob, I'll be keeping it the same color. And removing the body kit, possibly a lil extra one inch drop to fill the gap that will be left over in the wheels wells up front. Headers, performance chip, and 5500 cfm electric fans. And with G.I. Joes going out of business im waiting for the price to go down to buy an underbody LED kit and a strobe kit by streetglow. If its chepa enough Ill throw on the wheel well LED kit.

Thanks for coming by to check out my truck. I got the projectors, but they fit horribly. They stick out of the grille about three eighths of an inch! Not worthy of posting pics. I will most likely end up buying new stock light housing until I can find some proper fitting ones. Once again I appreciate you dropping by to look at my truck. Please rate!

8000K HID Day and Night shots. Still waiting for the projector headlights.

This is my 95 Chevy Silverado. It is a 5-speed 5.7L 350 V8 in an extended cab stepside. Not many of th ose around, in fact I have never heard of or seen another in my life. Yeah there are other sticks and other stepsides but I havent seen a 350 5 speed stepside.

The windows were tinted last summer. The rear window and rear side windows had tinted glass. My amazing girlfriend and her cousins got the tint done for my birthday. Its 18% all around. The tinted glass ended up at sommwhere around 4% so the rear is limo and sides 18% . Thinking about getting 50% on the windshield.

I lowered it at the beginning of summer. The drop ended up being a 2/5 drop. The leaf springs I bought for the rear are 4" drop for a 2001 silverado so they lower this model truck 5 inches if you use the 2001 stock shackles. In the front I used 2" drop spindles.

All Shocks were replaced with these KYB MonoMax Shocks. They are a great improvement over stock and I was told they are better than any that coem in a lowering kit. Only problem I ran into was the fender was cutting up my front tires I had to roll that now it rubs on bumps but doesnt cut it.

I have a lowpro gem top bed cover with 2 locks and carpet on the underside. My tailgate handle is shaved and I recently installed new IPCW LED taillights and third brake light. My rollpan is a sir micheals steel roll pan and the license plates flip up to reveal the hidden hitch. The rool pan was molded to the body but the steel didnt go well with the fiberglass bed and it cracked.

All exterior lights were changed to aftermarket. The headlights where defective so they are in process of being refunded so I can get some better ones! I have 8000K Halo HID bulbs for my low beam and for my high beams I have Halo Platinum White bulbs and I installed a relay so that both high and low beams stay on when I switch to my high beams. I am waiting on 360 LED Bulbs for my park lights they are on back order. heres a pick of the front end and the HID Ballast next to the quad beam relay under the hood.

The truck came with a billet brushed aluminum grille from the dealer when my dad bought it back in 95 and that is what is on it for the time being. My mirrors are street scene cal-vu sprt mirrors with LED turn signals in them.

Under the hood is a K&N GEN II FIPK Cold Air Intake with a PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer. It also has two and a half inch cat back exhaust into a 40 series Flowmaster Dumped before the axle.

I also have an Optima Yellow top battery. My old Red top Optima went bad. The owner of it before me completely killed it often and I did it once and that was the end of the battery but this deep cycle yellow top is much better than the Red.

Inside I have Niken Pedals and a JVC Head unit running my system with a 2.5" Monitor  and it actually plays movies on that tiny screen.

This is all for now thanks for stopping by and please rate my truck! Night picks of my lights will be up within the next two weeks. sorry the truck was dirty when I took these pics. Please check out my poll I am unsure about smoking my lights!

This truck is no where near being done I still have a lot of plans that will all be carried out in due time . (The only thing stopping me is money. I just finished high school and am started college on Sep. 29 2008 so money is hard to get but upgrades will happen slowly but surely) Thank you for checking out my truck!
