TMS / Conforti Performance Engine Software represents the most cost-effective approach to increasing engine performance. It has been dyno-tested to provide a safe increase in power by altering fuel enrichment, cam timing and ignition timing specifically for use with premium gasoline. Also provides an increase in the factory rev-limit allowing for optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. Not only does it re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, It also re-map other areas of chips other tuners don't touch - such as acceleration enrichment, transition fueling (how the car responds to rapid change in pedal, and VANOS control as needed to optimize the vehicle for operation on premium fuel.
This kit simply replaces the very restrictive factory air box with a free flowing, reusable ITG foam air filter and mandrel bent intake tube which provides smooth cool air flow to the engine. Unlike similar styled ?cone filter? kits the Conforti intake features a custom molded heat shield. This shield provides protection from the engine's power-robbing hot air and is a perfect fit to your engine bay. The hood acts as the intake?s cover ? completely sealing the filter off. Intake air is drawn in from the factory inlet between the radiator and the headlight.
