Howdy
April 4th, 2009

Haven't updated in a while.  Been busy-ish.  Since my last update I've had a few adventures with the beast.  First of all the no sub situation had to be fixed up.  So I picked up a 8" Infinity Sub, and a 600W MTX Amp.  Me and my buddy Kyle (who owns the bad ass 70 Lemans in my links) Went to work and made a small vented sub box that fits behind the seat.  After hooking up the amp etc it wouldn't go... We found out that my amp was DOA so went and got a replacement.  Now, people are quite surprised at the bass in my little truck.  It isn't going to win any awards but it is sure a presance.

Then I went to about on general maintanace on the beast.  Whomever owned it before had never changed the spark plugs... Wow.  They were in there tight.  I even cracked one in half pullin' er out.  So I got all those replaced, went to my local part shop, picked up a drop in K&N Filter, took the air box out and made the air inlet for said box a bit bigger.   This weekend I plan on puting new U-Joints in the old ones seem to be making a racket.

Well, got bored and decided to put a stereo in the beast... What pain in the butt that was. Finally got the deck put in The JVC KD-G440 and put in Infinity Reference 4 x 6 2-Way Speakers in the dash. Definite improvement. Now to do the doors, but it is a pain to find out what these beasts are. Some places say 6.5's others say 5 1/4's... so I'm gonna just wait till I go to do my amp and subs, and get the store to put them in because I am lazy :P
