Well as you can see on the first page, all of the "new" pieces had a bit of surface rust on them, 220 took it off easily and I sprayed a $23.00 a gallon, ace "rust stop" enamel mixed 70/ 30 with lacquer thinner, so it should not rust anymore... and it makes a good "epoxy primer" when sprayed on bare metal.
I will surface/ seal and spray it one day, but for now it's good enough to get this thing on the road and in the mud....
look's alot better now and at least the metal is protected....
