UPDATE! I know a few of you are interested in the dimensions of my enclousures. I am hoping to be removing the boxes soon due to other mods with a re-work of the sound system. Once I remove the boxes I'll take some pics and try to get some dimensions for everyone who would like to know. Also, I will not be needing the boxes once removed, so if anyone would like them, just pay for shipping costs (not cheap!) and they're yours (or if you're close to CT then just pick them up). I would recommend using them for ideas, because it is definetely NOT a plug and play setup. Once the boxes are removed I'll post them up as available.
Here it is! The Stereo Project!

Here is the modified rear wall of the cab. Notice that there are no longer any brackets for the jack and jack block or anything. The floor is smoothed out as much as it could be without doing extensive body mods or fillers. All of the rivets that held all the brackets were removed and left holes, so they were filled by welding/grinding and finally painting the wall flat black as seen in the pic.

Here the two boxes are constructed and put in the truck to test fitment. Although I had wanted to make the boxes with no back or bottom to them, I found that it was a little too difficult to accomplish in my time frame, so I went to a partial back to the boxes. There is basically large sectional holes in the back of the box to make it sit deeper into the wall. The horizontal hole in the back of the boxes runs around the large ridge in the wall.

Here I am installing the amp at night to see if everything was gonna work.

Here the speakers and amp are all installed and ready to play. Notice the back of the seat and how there is no buldge to the rear of the center section. As you can tell the boxes are constructed out of plywood. Its actually 5/8" exterior grade plywood that was left over from having the roof on my house redone. So it was free and I didn't even know how the boxes would turn out. I thought that instead of paying for MDF I would use the free wood figure it all out and then eventually rebuild it all out of MDF and then carpet it all black to match the theme of the interior.

These pictures are of the seat frame modifications to remove the rear hump in the middle of the seat frame so the seat could go back further. You can see my dad there in a couple of the pics.
The seat modification was actually my dad's idea and it worked well allowing me to slide my seat that extra inch back to make driving the truck comfortable.
One of the things I didn't have time to do was the sound deadening. Result is that I get crazy rattling which could be expected, but I subdued most excess rattling by adding more brackets to the boxes to reduce flexing and movement under sound pressure. Also, the nice slider window I got tends to rattle because it has more moving parts obviously.
Here's some comparison pics of my 1st stereo install and then the second. The second is soo much better and almost too loud.
BEFORE:
*Notice seat buldge, one 200 watt amp, one 10"sub.
AFTER:
*Notice NO seat buldge, 800 watt amp, and two 10" subs.
**Update** Alpine CDA-9805 deck is installed. It makes the system sound better and I can control the sub level output and cutoff frequencies and lots of other stuff. I am happy with it.
This is what the deck looks like:

To see it installed please check out page 2, interior mods.
