MY TRUCK!

adamdirt's 1995 Isuzu Pickup

UPDATES! I TOLD YOU I WOULD THEY WOULD BE COMING!

UPDATE (8/31/05)!!(So much for cheap economical transportation)

I have bought a new ride, a 2005 Dodge SRT-4! Its black and I would almost consider it fast. I'll have to stick with extrememly quick. That car will be taking the place of my truck as my daily driver, so I will finally be able to tear into my truck without the concern of needing to drive it everyday. I'll post a pic here of the car when I get a chance. I also tried the "add a car to my garage" thing, but I don't think there is a link to the other site for the SRT-4 so click the link below if ya want to see it. Thanks for checking out my page.

Black 2005 SRT-4
This is the link to the SRT-4. Not much there yet. I've been entirely too busy to get some pictures taken. I will try to have pictures up so you all can drool over it, just like I do every day I drive it!

UPDATE (8/24/05)! I received 4 new shocks. As its seen in the brake page, the shock housings are all rusty and they are also wearing out. I purchased 4 Belltech Nitro-Active shocks. Now I just have to get a moment to install them.

UPDATE (8/20/05)! Spent the day at a friend's house. Took the bed off the frame to tackle the never ending frame rust issue. Also installed a set of heavy duty stock height shackles with polyurethane bushings. Shackles are from Independent4x.com. He's got lost of good stuff for Isuzus. Mostly 4x4 stuff, but you 2wd guys can find stuff there too. I don't have any pictures of the work unfortunately. I didn't have a camera with me at the time. With the bed off, the whole rear half of the frame was sanded, treated with rust neutralizer and painted. Then the underside of the bed was sprayed totally with rubberized undercoating. The inside of the bed was treated to the same and then topped with a dupont spray in bed liner. I'll get pictures up when I get a chance.

UPDATE (8/9/05)! I received the tailgate handle relocator kit, now I just have to get a new tailgate and install it. I've test fitted the whole assembly. I just have to get it completed.

UPDATE! The cap is off permanetly. I removed and dissasembled my tailgate. I'm going to order a new tailgate and tailgate handle relocator kit.

UPDATE! Drilled and Slotted rotors are on my truck. Pictures and a lame DIY on page 7.

UPDATE (5/9/05)!
Installed upgraded swaybar endlinks. Built better than the stock links and have stiffer polyurethane bushings. I noticed a definite improvement over the stock setup. Best $20 I spent in a while.

I have a 1995 Isuzu Pickup standard cab. It's still my daily driver. I picked it up for about a grand. It had a huge rust hole in the drivers side door and had factory steel wheels and a bad exhaust leak. I bought the truck with 164,000 miles on it, but it did not burn oil and the four wheel drive still worked great.

I've done basic modifications as money has allowed.

Mechanically I've put money into the truck to make it solid, fixed the door and the exhaust myself with the help of my dad and also got some much better looking mag wheels off of an '86 trooper.
