My Dad bought the truck brand new in 1994. It was a family vehicle with a cap on the back, high UGLY hood deflector, fog lights, running boards, a total family oriented vehicle. I turned 15 and decided to take the truck off his hands, and update it a little.
Here are a few shots of when it was time to overhaul the tank...

Look at that Ugly Mug...
We pulled the old 305 out and put it down to rest. Built a 350 up and dropped it in.
Old 305 engine
New Restored 350
We basically pulled everything off, decided if it was salvageable, if it was, we restored it, if it wasnt we ordered it or built it ourselves.
Scuff and paint the frame black matte
In goes the silverado for an updated custom paint job.
If your doin flames...do em right....if you do em right....you do em GHOST
Custom Made, Custom Paid. Going for that true custom look, I chose ghost flames for the hood, and a ghost emblem for the bottom right of the tailgate. At night YOU DONT SEE THEM. Unless the moon hits them. In the day, you dont notice them until that certain angle catches the sun right and they are visible. Very nice touch if i do say so myself.

This is the truck last summer. Lookin real good, but i want to take it a step Further...

Mored Bodywork, More cosmetic surgery...
Final Result!
