I bought my Cobra new on February 20th 1979. It has only 45,000 miles on the bone stock original 302cu.in. motor. All Cobra door and hood decals are original also.The tranny is a Borg-Warner T-5 out of a 1990 Mustang GT. I just swapped out the original 7.5" rearend for a 8.8" rear with 3:73 posi gears. I will also be putting on some engine dress up stuff (valve covers, aircleaner etc). The interior is completely original but starting to get a little worn out. Will be dealing with that also. I'll have more pics as I progress.

I've already swapped out the exhaust manifolds for a set of shorty headers with a Summit Racing X-pipe and a couple of turbo mufflers. I'm going to add some dress up goodies like COBRA valve covers and maybe an intake and carb soon.
