ecnal8's 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass

My 1970 Cutlass S

I recieved my 1970 Cutlass olds when i was 17 on June 14 2007 as a supprise after i decided it wouldnt be practicle to drive an unreliable car as a daily commuter, it's an all original never teenagerized vehical with new Original Parts group interior Front, and Rear bench material along with Dino mat all around the inside All original documentation from Dealership in CA original owners name and everything. And yes i plan on keeping it (original) i would never cut holes in this California car. This car came out the factory as a groccery getter so i of course will upgrade it just enough so that it will be able to beat slightly modded Fords, and Chevy with no effect on it' stock apperence seen in the photos below. Theres nothing wrong with having a nice reliable sleeper.

That is a sweet 70' in 69 the Supreme only came with a 350ci (not that, thats a bad thing) I didnt get the motor with it.. the 455 swap is very strait up.. a little tight but easy none the less. The olds 12 bolt type "O" rear end is very comparable to the Chevy 8.5 10Bolt in quality/strength.. its a fine rear end.. not 12 bolt chevy quality, but trust worthy. Its advantage is it doesnt use C clips.. When I mean dangerious 2200-3000rpm is peak torque on the 455.. I can easily keep up with/pass highway traffic.. and its turning roughly 4300rpm @ 140mph (based on a calculator) with slip more like 4500Rpm? high but 140 is nuts
