Toyota Tercel 4WD Wagons are really good. They have a lot of space and are pretty good on gas too. You can drive up really steep hills with the 4 wheel drive and the Extra Low gear in the transmission. It's really good for snow and other slippery stuff.
groovin4god's 1986 Toyota Tercel This is my Tercel wagon with a snowmobile in the back.

groovin4god's 1986 Toyota Tercel Here is me fixing the left CV joint. It only broke because the boot was cracked and I didn't fix the boot. It started clicking after several months, and then got really bad when we were towing a trailer with it.

Hey nice Tercel Wagon. Keep up the good work. I have an '81 Tercel Sedan. Good shit men, after so many years, and it's still on road. Rolling down the road.

Thanks for the input on my 81 tercel. I still thinking about getting a 4 or 5 speed for my car it would be a challenge to get it all together. That picture of you working in the snow takes me back a few years. The only tools I had were a cresent wrench, screw driver and cheap Kmart scocket set. Working in my dirt driveway with newspapers under my 67 VW bus.

hey man nice ride, and yes my car really does have 225hp it was dyno'd about a month ago. It handles the horsepower pretty well, though the front wheels tend to spin like hell when i have to stop on hills or when its raining. transmition wise i'd definatly replace it, the one i have is a 4 speed manual, i got it from an 89 celica and replaced the drive train so its still 4wd. torque is probably where you wanna go power wise cuz it already (mine does, although its a japanese model) has about 100 ft. lbs. stock, mines at 175 ft.lbs. at the moment. If you got any other Q's feel free to ask, id love to help anyone fix up a 87 tercel wagon cuz they kik ass and are very reliable, later =)
