I couldnt be bummed about the turbo for too long. So I decided to do a few things with the interior.
I picked up 2 3" tweeters and cross overs from an Audi 5000 at the yard with idea of putting one in each door. So I took the door cards off, pulled off the old fabric, dremmeled in room for the tweeters. I sprayed the cards black. but that looked like poo. So off to the fabric store.
The mission was to get black fabric and foam. But there was just soooooo many diff types of fabric. And black looked so plain...
Yeah...

I think the pattern is called herringbone. Its yellow and redish-brown. Haha. Love it or hate it, but it puts a giant smile on my face when I see it. It was 6 bucks for a yard and a half which was way more than enough material. I bought the same ammount of .5" soft foam. Other than that a sharp exacto knife, some 3M Super 77 and a few brews. This was my first try at upholstering somthing.

I also made a switch panel out of the ashtray face.
Cant use the ashtray, but I dont smokes cigs so its ok. It just held change and fuses. And that made too much noise.

From left to right Lights-Fans-Lights and the air horns are the big button. There is room for maybe 4 more toggle switches.
