Alright, for those who haven't seen the gG8,(#092 of the first 888 built) here it is, nice red nasty L76 engine (6.0 liter). Puts out around 360 hp and 390 pounds of torque. The tranny is a 6L80e, with 3 three different shift possitions. Stock auto which is in the drive mode, sport mode which is supposed to let it shift at a few more rpms and a little firmer shift, (can't tell the difference) and the slap shift mode, lets you shift the 6 speed auto manually by slapping the shifter forward for each gear. The tranny is a little lazy when shifting needs some tuning for firmer more positive shifts. Pretty fast for a 4 door sedan. I've seen 0-60 in 5.3 and 1/4 mile times from 13.8 down to 13.60 at about 104-105 mph in the magizines and motorweek illistrated. It feels that fast, so, I don't think the numbers are bogus. Take a look at the pics and see what you think.
I'll be adding my usual stuff, eibach pro kit to drop it, staggered 19's, 8.5 up front and 9.5's in the rear. Air intake system that I'll build myself from spectre's modular intake kits and maybe some tuning to firm up the shifts and add a little horsepower. Hope you like it, really nice ride. Kinda has the 5 series bmw look. I have added some tens in the trunk, didn't hide my wires because I still have to add the amp, I just taped into the current amp and just let the wires hang for now. Just added 11" air intake filter to put some more air into the throttle body. Sounds and feels good. Shot some new pics of the wheels. Need to make a tire change for the back. This is tempory for now. I'll add more pictures once I get the rear tires. These are Ruff Racing R931's. 19x8.5 ind the front and 19x9.5 in the rear. I need to order the correct tires for the rear. The original tires I ordered were 285-35-19, they had 11.4 section width and they stuck out to far. I ordered 255-40 with will tuck under the car properly. I'll update as soon as they arrive next week.
Finished the Spectre Performance CAI and got the window tinted, just did 35 all around.
